A fresh start for Eqraft under new management and ownership

Eqraft has many years of experience in designing, building and maintaining innovative machines for the processing of agricultural bulk products, such as onions and potatoes. The company’s founders started in the 80s, but unfortunately, their business went bankrupt in 2019. Eqraft’s current management acquired the bankruptcy estate with Proqraft BV and continued with Eqraft as its trade name.

Engineering, software development, project management, buying, production and service are located in Emmeloord, the Netherlands, led by Marcel Kampes as General Manager. Rutger Keurhorst takes on the role of Commercial Manager and is in charge of consulting, project engineering, sales and marketing.

After the takeover, Eqraft’s team – including the entire management and employees who were involved from the very beginning, as well as new colleagues – worked hard to deliver machines and realize new processing lines for our customers. For example, the ‘Factory of the Future’ for MSP Onions in the Netherlands, with the largest processing line for onions in the world, has now been completed.

Besides MSP Onions, HOZA and Go Products, now Big O Farms in Elba, New York also works with our Eqrader, an electronic onion sorter. Furthermore, we’ve delivered dozens of processing lines, onion toppers, combination scales, packing machines, baggers and more machinery all over the world since the acquisition. We’re very grateful to our partners and colleagues for their trust and contributions to the fresh start of Eqraft. Together, we’ll keep realizing the factory of the future.
